The Client’s Vision
This six-bedroom villa in Bhatinda was one of the most ambitious residential entertainment projects we completed, and the client wanted nothing less than a system that had not been done before in a private home. The vision was clear: every space in the villa had to serve a purpose, yet every system had to remain discreet, elegant, and fully integrated into the architecture. The family wanted a home that could support private cinema nights, party entertainment, relaxed family viewing, outdoor gatherings, and effortless bedroom audio without compromising the luxury interiors.
The most important requirement was that the technology should feel advanced, but never visually intrusive. The client wanted the villa to become a benchmark for what a private residence could achieve, with a dedicated Dolby Atmos theatre, a large party and bar area, outdoor garden and pool music, invisible bedroom solutions, and full-house control through Crestron. In short, this was not just an AV project; it was a complete lifestyle integration designed for performance, comfort, and long-term satisfaction.

The challenge was to deliver a system that combined reference-grade cinema performance, multi-zone music, and whole-house automation inside a villa that demanded both scale and refinement. The theatre had to be one of the earliest private Dolby Atmos halls in the country, while the rest of the property needed to remain beautiful, practical, and easy to use. Every zone had to perform independently, but also work together under a single control platform. That meant careful planning of acoustics, hidden cabling, equipment rooms, power conditioning, and integration logic.

The basement theatre was the heart of the project and one of its most remarkable achievements. We had the opportunity to design a true private cinema inside a dedicated 1,000 sq. ft. room with an additional 150 sq. ft. projection room, creating an 18-seater theatre with reference-level sound and picture. The goal was not just to build a big theatre, but to create a proper Dolby Atmos private cinema with scale, immersion, and exceptional precision.
The system was designed as a 21.10 channel Dolby Atmos theatre, which made it one of the earliest and most advanced private cinema installations of its kind. A 2.35:1 300-inch curved screen was used with an anamorphic lens and an 8K projector, allowing the room to deliver a truly cinematic scope presentation. Soundproofing and acoustic treatment were fully integrated so that the room could perform at the highest level without disturbing the rest of the villa.

These front speakers were selected for their high-output capability and refined dynamic control. They were capable of delivering large-scale cinema performance with authority, which was essential in a theatre of this size. Their robust engineering made them ideal for a reference private cinema where detail, impact, and clarity all had to work together.

The center channel played a crucial role in anchoring dialogue and front-stage consistency. It was chosen to match the tonal character of the front speakers and to maintain clarity across every seat in the theatre. This ensured that conversation, vocals, and soundtrack detail remained intelligible even at high playback levels.
CT7.3 LCRS / CT8.4 LCRS / CCM 662 / CCM 7.3
The theatre used a carefully planned mix of CT7.3 LCRS, CT8.4 LCRS, CCM 662, and CCM 7.3 speakers to create a true 21.10 Atmos environment. This gave the room an immersive sound bubble with strong directional movement, height effects, and seamless surround envelopment. The result was a cinema that could reproduce modern immersive soundtracks with exceptional realism.
CT SW 15 × 6 & CT SW 12 × 4
The low-frequency foundation of this theatre was built around six CT SW 15 subwoofers and four CT SW 12 subwoofers, supported by multiple SA1000 subwoofer amplifiers. This gave the room the ability to produce deep, controlled, and room-filling bass without losing speed or precision. With this scale of bass infrastructure, the theatre could handle both subtle sound design and explosive blockbuster content with ease.

Trinnov Audio Altitude32
This processor was the brain of the cinema system and was an excellent choice for a complex multi-channel Dolby Atmos installation. It allowed detailed room calibration, precise channel management, and highly accurate sound positioning across the seating layout. For a theatre of this ambition, Trinnov was the right platform to extract maximum performance from the speaker system.
Bryston Power Amplification
Bryston amplifiers were used throughout the theatre to deliver clean, stable, high-current power to the speakers. The combination of 7BSST monobloc’s, 3BSST monobloc’s, and 9BSST multi-channel amplifiers ensured that every channel had the authority it needed. This gave the theatre strong dynamics, excellent control, and the reliability expected from a flagship private cinema.

JVC DLA-NZ900 Projector
The projector was selected to deliver high-end cinematic picture quality for the large curved screen. It was paired with a Panamorph anamorphic lens to support the 2.35:1 widescreen format and maximize image impact. This setup created a proper scope cinema experience and matched the scale of the theatre beautifully.
Elite 2.35:1 300″ Curved Screen
The screen became the visual centrepiece of the room and helped establish a true commercial-cinema feel inside the villa. Its curved 2.35:1 format enhanced immersion and made the projection experience feel grand and theatrical. Together with the JVC projector, it helped define this room as a reference private theatre.

Kaleidescape Cinema One, Apple TV, and the media player were integrated to provide flexible playback options for movies and premium content. This gave the client easy access to both curated and everyday viewing sources while maintaining a clean, high-performance signal chain.

The 1,500 sq. ft. party and bar area was designed for social entertaining and had to perform very differently from the cinema room. This zone needed lively, powerful, and flexible sound that could support parties, casual gatherings, and professional DJ use. The system also had to handle music with enough scale for a large room while remaining easy to connect with external equipment.

The party room used Tannoy loudspeakers to deliver strong, lively, and wide-area music coverage. Their character suited an entertaining environment where energy and clarity mattered more than cinematic precision. The design allowed the room to serve as a proper social hub for music playback and guest entertainment.

Lab Gruppen Amplification
Lab Gruppen amplifiers were selected for their power, reliability, and ability to drive party-zone speakers with confidence. They gave the room the headroom needed for high-energy music reproduction. This made the zone suitable not only for everyday use but also for larger gatherings and event-style playback.
Yamaha Mixers
Yamaha mixers gave the client and professional DJs a flexible way to integrate playback, balance sources, and manage live inputs. This was particularly useful when the bar area was used for parties or special functions. The result was a highly practical entertainment space with professional control capability.

The outdoor garden and pool area needed a system that could fill open air with music while blending into the landscape. We used eight Klipsch rock speakers, which were well suited to garden integration because they could disappear visually while still delivering clear and lively sound. This kept the outdoor space elegant while making it fully functional for relaxation and entertaining.

Their discreet appearance made them ideal for a landscaped garden and pool zone where visual impact had to remain minimal. They delivered reliable outdoor music coverage for both casual use and larger gatherings.

The rock speakers were powered through a Crestron amplifier and connected into the wider Crestron control system. This made the outdoor zone easy to operate alongside the rest of the villa and allowed seamless integration with indoor music playback. Every bedroom in the villa was fitted with a Bowers & Wilkins Panorama 2 soundbar, giving each room a refined and simple audio solution without adding clutter. This was a practical choice because it delivered strong performance for TV and music while remaining visually discreet. It also gave every family member a premium experience in their private space without the need for a large system.
Crestron Control and System Integration
The entire villa was controlled through Crestron AV, climate, and lighting automation, with static IP integration across the property. This made the system stable, scalable, and easy to manage from a single control platform. It also ensured that the large residence remained intuitive to use despite the number of zones and systems operating inside it.
Crestron unified the theatre, party room, outdoor music, bedrooms, lighting, and air conditioning into one seamless experience. That kind of integration was essential for a project of this scale because the client wanted sophistication without complexity. The automation made the home feel effortless, which is exactly what a villa of this caliber demanded.
