The Client’s Vision
Sound Innovators designed and installed an exquisite dipole-based high-fidelity music system in a private villa in Calangute, Goa, completed in October 2013. This project was crafted for a serious long-term music listener with an extensive collection of over 1,000 audio CDs and vinyl records, focusing on old Hindi and Marathi music. The client demanded clear, soft, and natural-sounding speakers that would seamlessly blend with the room’s existing architecture and décor without any visible changes or acoustic treatment. We delivered a refined high-fidelity listening environment perfectly tuned to his preferences.
The Design Challenge was uniquely demanding: create the finest-sounding music system for a massive living room with double-height ceilings where zero visible modifications were permitted. The client sought a balanced, fatigue-free sonic signature ideal for vintage Hindi film songs and Marathi folk recordings, filling the expansive open-plan space with a natural, holographic sound field. Our solution preserved every architectural detail while achieving reference-grade vocal clarity within budget constraints proving that luxury HiFi performance can honor both music passion and villa elegance without compromise.
Audio Foundation
The Speaker System — Danish Audiophile Engineering
Jamo R909 floor standing speakers formed the acoustic foundation of this Goa villa HiFi system, handcrafted in Denmark for natural vocal reproduction and room-filling dynamics. Their dipole design creates an expansive, ambient sound field that envelopes the listener perfect for the double-height living room without acoustic treatment.
The Jamo R909’s four-way configuration delivers seamless frequency integration across the massive space, with dual woofers providing controlled bass that fills the open-plan villa without boominess. The ribbon tweeter reveals the delicate harmonics of vintage Hindi film songs and Marathi folk textures, while the midrange driver ensures Kishore Kumar vocals float with lifelike presence and breathability.
This Danish engineering choice perfectly matched the client’s clear, soft, natural sonic ideal delivering reference HiFi performance that honors both the 1,000+ record collection and the Calangute villa’s architectural elegance.
Signal Chain
High-Fidelity Electronics & Sources — Reference Chain Precision
American engineering powers this Goa villa HiFi system, creating a transparent signal path from vinyl and CD sources to the Jamo R909 speakers. Each component was selected for ultra-low distortion and musical finesse, perfectly complementing the client’s vintage Hindi-Marathi collection.

The Parasound Halo JC2 stereo preamplifier features John Curl-designed circuitry with balanced inputs, exceptionally low noise floor, and smooth, transparent gain control ideal for switching seamlessly between CD digital playback and vinyl analog warmth.
Parasound Halo JC1 Monoblocks
Parasound Halo JC1 John Curl-designed THX Ultra 2-certified Monoblock power amplifiers deliver high-current, ultra-low-distortion performance, perfectly driving the Jamo R909’s demanding open-baffle design with effortless power, precise control, and finesse. The dedicated monoblock-per-channel configuration ensures completely separate, optimized power supplies for left and right channels.
Rotel RCD1520
Provides high-resolution CD playback with low-jitter digital-to-analogue conversion, ensuring pristine retrieval of every detail from the client’s extensive 1,000+ CD collection of classic Hindi film songs and Marathi recordings.
Thorens Turntable
The client’s existing Thorens turntable was flawlessly integrated, preserving his vinyl collection as a core system element. This complete chain — Jamo R909 speakers, Parasound JC2 preamp, JC1 monoblocks, Rotel CD player, and Thorens turntable — creates a unified high-fidelity path for both digital and analog formats.

Signal Integrity & Clean Power — The Silent Foundation
Premium cabling and power conditioning form the invisible backbone of this Goa villa HiFi system, eliminating noise and preserving every musical nuance from source to speaker.
Neotech UPOCC Cables
Neotech UPOCC (Ultra-Purified Ohno-Continuous-Cast) speaker cables and interconnects deliver high-purity oxygen-free copper conductors with ultra-low resistance and minimal signal loss. These cables maintain transient detail and tonal balance throughout the chain — crucial for the soft, natural character of vintage Hindi and Marathi recordings without added harshness or coloration.
PS Audio Power Purifier
A PS Audio power purifier cleans the mains supply, surgically reducing electrical noise and ensuring stable, consistent power delivery to the Parasound amplifiers and Rotel CD player. This creates the blackest noise floors and sustains the system’s soft, fatigue-free sonic signature during extended listening sessions with the client’s 1,000+ record collection.
