The Client’s Vision
This Surat, Gujarat project was designed for a family that wanted two very different entertainment experiences under one residence: a powerful living room audio system for hosting large family gatherings, and a dedicated media room that could deliver true cinema-like Dolby Atmos performance. The living room needed to fill a very large 25 x 40 feet space with clarity, control, and strong bass, but without disturbing the interior design. The media room, on the other hand, had to offer immersive surround sound for a 5-seater setup with proper projection and acoustic treatment.
Sound Innovators approached the project with a clear focus on performance and lifestyle. In the living room, the challenge was to create a powerful floor-standing stereo system that could handle music, vocals, and bass with ease while respecting the interior designer’s instruction that all speakers must remain on the floor. In the media room, we built a carefully engineered 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos cinema with Triad speakers, JL Audio subwoofers, Yamaha electronics, and acoustic treatment to make the room perform like a true private theatre. The final result was a residence that balanced social entertainment, music enjoyment, and cinematic immersion beautifully.
Living Room Stereo
Living Room Stereo — Large Space High-Fidelity Audio
The living room in this Surat residence was a very large open area measuring 25 x 40 feet, so the audio system had to be powerful enough to energize the space during family gatherings while still maintaining refinement for music listening. Since the interior designer insisted that all speakers remain on the floor, we selected a floor-standing solution that could deliver both scale and elegance without wall mounting or visual clutter. The goal was not just volume, but proper musical authority, clean vocals, and controlled bass that could fill the entire room naturally.

We selected GoldenEar Technology Triton One floor-standing speakers, and this was an excellent choice for the room because each speaker has a built-in 1600W subwoofer section. That meant the system could deliver deep bass, clear midrange detail, and open treble from a single tall floor-standing cabinet, which suited the interior design brief very well. Two pairs were used to ensure the large living room received even sound coverage and strong output across the full seating and gathering area. The Triton One is especially effective in a room like this because it can reproduce vocals, instruments, and low-frequency energy with the kind of control that a big family lounge needs.

To drive the speakers properly, we used two Rotel RB-1590 stereo power amplifiers, which are known for delivering serious power with excellent grip and musical control. Their high-current design gave the GoldenEar speakers the authority they needed for both dynamic music playback and fuller sound coverage in a large room.
Rotel RC-1572 Stereo Preamplifier
The Rotel RC-1572 stereo preamplifier was selected as the control center, and an integrated Apple streamer made the system practical for everyday use. Together, the Rotel electronics created a clean, strong, and refined signal path that allowed the living room stereo to perform with confidence.

The 350 sq. ft. media room was designed as a compact but highly capable private cinema for five seats, where the client wanted surround sound performance that felt immersive and precise. Even though the room size was more controlled than the living room, the requirement for proper theatre imaging, strong bass, and clear dialogue was just as important. We treated the room carefully so that every channel would support the Atmos experience without allowing the sound to become harsh or uncontrolled.
